Being Uncool...


I love the scene from the Movie, "Almost Famous" where the Philip Seymour Hoffman portrays the famous Rock and Roll Critic Lester Bangs. In it, Lester Bangs is on the phone with William Miller (Patrick Fugit ) talking about being "Uncool" when he nails the line right on the head...

"The only true currency in this bankrupt world is what you share with someone else when you're uncool"

I think we have all been there.

But my God, what a great line...

    When I was a teenager the other kids thought I was cool. They did not tell me at the time, they told me this when I was an adult. What could be a higher showing of esteem from your colleagues than that? I was happy to hear they thought of me that way. I like your blog. It's cool.
